Man kills self over Cong defeat
Udaipur: Distressed over the defeat of Congress party in the recent assembly elections, a man in Shivdia village under Bekariya police station of Udaipur on Sundayended his life by consuming poison.
Dhanaram Garasia took this drastic step after succumbing to profound disappointment following the defeat of the Congress party. After consuming poison, he went to a nearby grocery shop and told about having consumed poison.

He was immediately rushed to Bekariya PHC and was later shifted to MB Hospital in Udaipur when his health deteriorated. He died in the hospital.
The police handed over his body to the relatives after postmortem.
