MSU Polytechnic College gets NBA accreditation for 5 diploma courses
Vadodara: The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) has granted a three-year accreditation to five engineering diploma programmes at M S University's Polytechnic College.
The diplomas in civil, electrical, information technology, mechanical and petrochemical technology have been accredited for the period from 2024-25 to 2026-27, with validity until June 30, 2027.

"This accreditation is a game-changer for our students as it enhances their prospects for better job opportunities and admission to higher education in reputed national and foreign institutes," said Professor Dhanesh Patel, the college principal.
The accreditation journey began in Feb 2024, with the application being submitted in April. An expert NBA team conducted a thorough inspection from Aug 2 to 4, before granting the accreditation.
NBA is an independent body responsible for the evaluation of academic activities of various engineering diploma courses. It evaluates the academic performance in nine different criteria including the quality of the teaching and learning process, quality of faculty members, academic performance and placement of students, research and consultancy, infrastructure, administration governance, outcome-based education.
"The NBA accreditation will also open other avenues such as funding from the All-India Council for Technical Education, increased intake of students and grants for infrastructure in the departments," he added.
