CORONAVIRUS IN HYDERABAD

A 24-year-old software engineer who returned to Hyderabad from Dubai tested positive for Coronavirus in the first week of March 2020. The techie, who works in Bengaluru, had been admitted for treatment at the state-run Gandhi hospital in Hyderabad. During treatment, his samples were collected and the first test was found negative. The results of the second test was also reported negative. As of March 23, five have been tested positive for COVID19 in Andhra Pradesh and 26 positive cases have been reported in Telangana. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his address to the nation on March 19, called for 'Janata curfew' on March 22 from 7AM to 9PM to contain the spread of coronavirus.
