Gambling den busted, 8 arrested

New Delhi: Central District's police recently busted an illegal gambling racket, which was running from New Rajender Nagar, and arrested eight people.
During the raid, police also recovered Rs 51.3 lakh in cash, 2,290 casino coins, seven mobile phones, three cash counting machines and 175 decks of playing cards.The arrested individuals were Sanjeev Kumar (56) from Patparganj, Fazlu Rehman (53) from Abul Fazal Enclave, Sanjay Chaudhary (42) from Shahdara, Devender Kumar (43) from Sadar Bazar, Afsar (27), Manmohan Prasad (31) and Mohd Imran (28) from Trilokpuri.Narinder Nijhawan (66), the property owner and the organiser of gambling events, has also been arrested.
