Lt Gen Sahi reviews Moreh situation
Imphal: After gunfights between suspected militants and security personnel in last couple of days at Moreh in Manipur, general officer commanding of 3 Corps, Lt General H S Sahi on Tuesday visited the India-Myanmar border town and took stock of the situation, reports K Sarojkumar Sharma.
His visit coincided with the recovery of a huge cache of arms in Churachandpur by a joint team of Assam Rifles (AR) and Manipur police officials.

“During his visit, he interacted with civil society organisation (CSOs) and discussed issues related to violence,” a statement released by the Assam Rifles read.
The visit aimed at enhancing coordination, understanding ground realities, and fostering open communication channels between the military leadership and operational units, it added.
