30 tin sheds removed, 10 shops sealed to ease traffic
Indore: Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) on Wednesday carried out an encroachment removal drive on major roads to improve traffic management and address the issue of vendors occupying footpaths.
During the drive carried out in Bhanwarkuan, Apple Hospital to Transport Nagar main road, and Choithram Hospital road, 25-30 tin sheds were demolished. They were being used for unauthorised vending and obstructing pedestrian movement.

Additionally, three truckloads of goods were seized.
Traffic police also impounded around 20 two-wheelers, one bus, four cars, one broken rickshaw, and one small truck, which were later taken to Mhow-Naka traffic police station. A joint team of IMC and administration issued challans amounting to Rs 72,000 and sealed around 10 shops. The vendors were advised against encroaching upon public spaces, and the IMC team also conducted announcements in the area to create awareness. tnn
