Jaipur: The nine-million tonne capacity Pachpadra oil refinery is nearing completion, said T Ravikant, principal secretary (mines and petroleum), on Thursday. He said more than 90% of the work on 10 processing units and over 80% of work of the project area had been completed.
However, no deadline for the operation of the refinery that will produce BS-6 grade petroleum products has been decided.
In addition to products like petrol and diesel, the refinery will also produce polypropylene, butadiene, benzene, and toluene, among others, for which a petrochemical complex will be developed. The refinery is a joint venture of
