Jammu and Kashmir Police traces missing BSF officer

An ASI of BSF who went missing in Jammu was traced by the police in Domana. After legal formalities, he was handed over to his Battalion Officer, and the missing report was closed.

JAMMU: An Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of Border Security Force (BSF) who reportedly went missing in Jammu outskirts, was traced out by the Jammu and Kashmir Police and subsequently was handed over to his Battalion on Friday, officials said.
"An information was received at Police Station Domana about the missing of a ASI/GD namely Parmanand Hembram of 7th Bn BSF Hqrs Paloura and a missing report in this regard was entered at Police Station Domana vide DD No 03, Dtd May 01."
"Accordingly, the Police team of PS Domana led by SHO Domana put strenuous efforts and with the help of technical assistance as well as human intervention traced out the missing person."
Police said, "After completing all legal formalities the said person has been handed over to his Battalion Officer.
