Jodhpur: Former revenue minister of the state, Ram Lal Jat, has moved high court fearing arrest in an alleged Rs 5 crore fraud case filed against him and four others in Kareda police station in Bhilwara on September 17. Jat has sought quashing of FIR and stay on arrest in his petition filed on December 14. Hearing of the petition will take place on December 20.
Parmeshwar Joshi, director and shareholder of a granite mine in Raghunathpura of Kareda, had filed an FIR against Jat alleging that Jat had got transferred 50% shares of the mine in favour of his nephew and his wife against a promise of paying Rs 5 crore, which he never paid.
