Kanpur: The Indian and Bangladesh cricket teams arrived in Kanpur on Tuesday evening to compete in the second and final test match of the series, slated to be played at Green Park from September 27 to October 1.
Some of the Indian players reached the city in afternoon, while the rest of the team and the Bangladesh team, along with their support staff, landed around 5pm at Chakeri Airport.
From there, they were taken to the hotel Landmark by bus. On reaching the hotel, the players went directly to their rooms.

Rohit Sharma, and Rishabh Pant were welcomed by venue director Sanjay Kapoor. All the players were welcomed with vermilion tilak, Rudraksh rosary and flowers by the hotel staff.
The Indian team has won the first test in Chennai by 280 runs and the victory in the final test would earn points for them, helping them climb to the top spot in the world test rankings.
The two teams will start net practice on Wednesday. As per the schedule, the morning session, from 9:30am to 12:30pm, has been allotted to the Bangladesh team, while the Indian team will practice from 1:30 to 4:30 pm.
On the next day on September 26, the order will be reversed with the Indian team practising at Green Park in the morning and the visiting team in evening session.
