Veteran Bengali actor and celebrated theatre personality
Manoj Mitra has been hospitalized recently due to his illness and his condition has been described as ‘very critical’. The 85-year-old actor is facing complications related to old age, which include breathing difficulties and an imbalance of sodium and potassium levels in his body. The veteran thespian and actor, is under treatment and remains under close observation as doctors work to uplift his health.
However, a rumour of his death gained momentum some time ago and now Mitra’s brother Amar Mitra has responded to the death hoaxes.
Amar Mitra informed that his brother has been unwell for quite some time and is undergoing medical treatment currently. He added that Mitra had to be admitted to the hospital for various health conditions and the veteran artist is responding to the medical treatment. However, Amar Mitra is quite irritated with his brother’s death rumours. He says, “The news of my brother’s death has been circulating for quite some time, especially on social media. A living person is being made dead overnight! I don’t understand who benefits from these kinds of rumours! Or even from my brother’s death!"
