The teaser for 'Jigra' has been certified by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Running for 2 minutes and 52 seconds, it received official certification on September 4, 2024, and has been granted a 'UA' rating.
In a recent interview with GQ India, Vedang talked about his acting process compared to Alia Bhatt’s in 'Jigra'. He found Alia very different and a bit confusing. He prepares extensively for his roles, using a playlist to set the mood. He was impressed by how Alia could nail her performance in just one take.
Directed by Vasan Bala, Jigra is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Alia Bhatt’s Eternal Sunshine Productions. The film is set to release in theaters on October 11, 2024, coinciding with the Dussehra festival.
