Two bodies found in Dehat

Kanpur:Two unidentified bodies were discovered floating in the Ramganga and Jhinjhak canals in Shivli police station area of Kanpur Dehat, on Thursday. The police have sent the bodies to mortuary.
Some villagers spotted a man’s body floating in Ramganga canal near Jasapur. The police, on being alerted, arrived at the scene. Kotwali in-charge KN Rai stated, “The body found in the canal saeems to be of around 35-year-old man.The body was decomposed which indicates that the man had died a few days ago. Efforts are being made to identify the body.”
Another body of a middle-aged man was found in Jhinjhak canal. Inspector Mangalpur SK Gupta stated, “There was only a white coloured cloth on the body and its face was completely disfigured.” Efforts are underway to identify the body, and further action will be taken following the investigation. tnn
