Shyne also touched on his efforts at securing investments and education support for Belize after his release, noting he did hold onto a potential source of help from Diddy. As much as Shyne insisted that his connection with Diddy was not close, stating they were not close friends and describing their connection as purely professional,.
Shyne said he never was involved in so-called "freak-offs," which one of his lawyers, Ben Brafman, explained are part of the disturbing allegations against Diddy, who was recently arrested on charges of
sex trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution. Prosecutors said Diddy allegedly used drugs and coercion to force victims into those events - some of which were reportedly filmed without participants' knowledge.
New evidences have continuously unraveled controversies surrounding Diddy's case as news pour into the media about his actions. Recently, Diddy was arrested in New York City on 16th September 2024. He was denied bail. Prosecutors proved more challenging to his case since they claimed Diddy had drugs in his hotel room at the time of his arrest.
Shyne, who returned to Belize after serving his sentence has carved himself a new life as a politician. He never forgets his past and yet has only concentrated on service for the nation and political ascension in worldview, and yet, his last words spoken there leave the after-effect of showing how all those experiences with Diddy have affected his life.
