Vivek Oberoi has often spoken about his personal life, including his relationships. Recently, the 'Saathiya' actor opened up about how after the loss of his childhood sweetheart, he found it challenging to open up to others and commit to serious relationships.
In an interview with India TV, Vivek Oberoi reflected on his past relationships, stating that he had very few serious girlfriends.
He explained that during his college years, he was focused on his studies and business ventures, including investing in the stock market, which left him with little time for a serious relationship. He also mentioned that his reluctance to commit was influenced by the tragic loss of his childhood sweetheart to cancer.
The actor went on to explain that he didn't want to experience more heartbreak, which led him to conclude that only casual relationships would suit him. He noted that he doesn't consider many of those encounters as actual "girlfriends". However, he emphasized that when he has loved, he has done so wholeheartedly. He affirmed his commitment to honesty, stating that he has never cheated on anyone and has always been transparent and true in his relationships.
In a previous interview, Vivek mentioned that many of his exes attended his wedding. He shared that he remained friends with several of his casual girlfriends, and many of them were present on his special day.
Despite this, he eventually found love and married Priyanka Alva in 2010, with whom he has two children. On the work front, Vivek was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s web show Indian Police Force along with Siddharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty and others.
