'Kareena Kapoor has broken the glass ceiling as far as what a Hindi film heroine can achieve' - Tusshar Kapoor on his Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai co-star completing 25 years in industry

Actor Tusshar Kapoor made his debut with Kareena Kapoor in the movie Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai in 2001. Recently, he opened up on his co-star Kareena completing 25 years in the industry. While talking to ETimes, the Khakee actor said, "Kareena is also a case study in marketing and the art of staying relevant at all times!"

Adding more, he said, "Kareena is a very special co-star of mine, as I started my career with her, and have worked with her in some of my most memorable films, like the Golmaal series! I think she has broken the glass ceiling as far as what a Hindi film heroine can achieve in the male dominated world of movies! She has outlasted generations of female actors and has delivered on box office numbers, purely on the strength of her name and presence in the film, a rarity for a female actor in the history of Bollywood! Her longevity and crowd pulling appeal has proven to be a game changer that’ll inspire future generations of female actors!"
Talking on what it takes, Tusshar said that Bebo is "an artist who has the charm and aura of the yesteryear stars and the talent to appeal to modern sensibilities.A huge congrats on her uninterrupted 25th year in front of the camera and more power to her for many more decades to come!"

Meanwhile, the actress attended the film festival in her name which celebrates her 25 years in the film industry. Yesterday, Kareena Kapoor Khan shared a picture on her Instagram Stories, capturing a moment inside a lift. The actress looked radiant in a custom Banarasi saree, smiling brightly as she gazed at a portrait of her grandfather, Raj Kapoor. Sharing the picture, Kareena wrote, “Carrying his love and lessons with me, always (red heart emoji).” For those unaware, Kareena Kapoor Khan Film Festival is set to take place from September 20 to 27, where many of her iconic movies will be re-released in Indian cinemas.
On the work front, Kareena recently made her debut as a producer with Hansal Mehta's crime thriller 'The Buckingham Murders,'. The film's cast includes Ranveer Brar, Ash Tandon, Assad Raja, Prabhleen Sandhu, Sanjeev Mehra, Adwoa Akoto, and Zain Hussain.
Recently, Kareena wrote a special note on the film’s release day, September 13 on Instagram. She wrote, “As an actor, it’s the choices one makes… And I am very proud of this choice.” Bebo requested the audience to watch her film, saying, “Please watch this story and dive into my world of crime and drama… a dream I have always had to act in or produce one... but here I got the best of both worlds. On the other hand, Kareena will be next seen in Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe 'Singham Again'. It also features Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Ranveer Singh, and Akshay Kumar. The action film is set to arrive in theatres on the festive occasion of Diwali 2024.
