Two, including minor, charged with kidnapping, rape of 14-year-old girl

Lucknow: A 14-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and gang-raped by two persons, including a minor, in Sarojininagar on Monday.
Police are questioning the minor boy in the presence of his parents while the adult has been detained.
Lodging an FIR, the girl's father said that his daughter was returning from her school on Monday afternoon when two youths, including a minor boy, intercepted her.
The duo snatched the girl's bag, bundled her into a car and forcibly took her to a hotel where they allegedly raped her, the complainant claimed.
The girl's father said that the accused youths also took her obscene pictures and made a video of the act. They threatened the girl that if she reported the incident to anyone, they would make her video viral and her family members. Later in the evening, both the accused dropped the girl near her house and fled.
Her father said that when he returned home, he found his daughter in an unconscious state. He lodged an FIR after she narrated her ordeal to him.
Launching investigation, the Sarojininagar police reached the hotel in Krishnanagar and took footage of CCTV cameras. The hotel staff told the police that no one was seen forcibly taking the girl inside the hotel.
DCP, south zone, Keshav Kumar said that a probe was being conducted into all the aspects of the case.
