Meerut: A 40-year-old on-duty
home guard was allegedly thrashed by three men on the road in Pahasu area of Bulandshahr, police said on Sunday.
Vinit Kumar, currently posted at Chhatari police station, was on his way to duty in the morning when three men on a motorcycle stopped him.
“The trio started abusing and misbehaving with me. One of them hit my head with a countrymade pistol’s handle, while another struck my shoulder with a sharp weapon.
They claimed to have beaten many other cops,” Kumar said.Rahul Singh
