7 from Surat among top 50 rankers

Surat: Students from the city performed well in CA inter and CA final examination the results of which were declared on Thursday.
At least seven students from Surat have found place among top 50 rankers in CA inter examination. However, no student from Surat found place among top 50 rankers in CA final exam.
Swayam Jain (AIR 10), Chitral Pamecha (AIR 11), Darshit Oswal (AIR 20), Palak Mittal (AIR 25), Het Siriya (AIR 30), Ujjwal Sumani (AIR 45) and Shreyansh Agrawal (AIR 50) are among the top 50 rankers in CA inter exam.
In the CA final result, Axit Limbasiya stood first from Surat by getting 414 out of 600 marks. Axit is the only son of his parents. His father works as a diamond worker.
Pradyuman Soni cleared CA final in his first attempt to stand second in Surat jointly with Krupa Chaliyawala. Soni got 388 marks. Soni wants to do a job for a couple of years before starting his own practice.
ICAI Surat branch chairman Dushyant Vithlani said, “A total of 1,740 students had appeared for CA finals from Surat in May 2024. Of them, 767 students appeared in the exam of both the groups. A total of 173 students cleared both the groups in CA finals.”
Vithlani added: “In CA inter exam, a total of 2,259 students appeared and 1,376 of them appeared for both the groups. Of 1,376 students, 355 cleared both the groups.”
