'Gumasthan' trailer: Bibin George and Dileesh Pothan lead a gritty tale of a lawless criminal

Bibin George stars in 'Gumasthan', an upcoming thriller directed by Amal K Joby. After the fun entertainer ‘Bad Boyz’, the actor Bibin George is all set to headline the upcoming film ‘Gumasthan’ and the recently unveiled trailer promises a ‘Drishyam’ style thriller.

The trailer starts with a narration that says, “Have you seen a spider weave its web? It sets its trap to catch the prey. And waits at the center of the web. Expecting the arrival of the prey.” This narration hints at a mastermind character who is setting every plan in motion to catch his prey.The trailer then introduces a ruthless person who is suspected of having committed a crime, but the police seem to be searching in the dark as there is no evidence against him. Even with his wife terrified of him killing her one day, the lack of evidence makes the police find this a difficult case. All hopes are on the brilliant police officer Hameed who is confident that the ruthless person is the culprit.

Bibin George plays an aspiring musician who fights even with his family in pursuit of his dreams. After his intense roles in ‘Thalavan’ and ‘Golam’, Dileesh Pothan will be playing a pivotal character in ‘Gumasthan’.
The movie is directed by Amal K Joby. ‘Gumasthan’ can get much praise if it’s packed with a strong script and all the hopes are on the writer Riyaz Ismath. Kunjunni Kumar is the cinematographer of the film and the music is by Stephen Devassy. The editing section is handled by Ayoob Khan and the background score will be composed by Binoy S Prasad.
