A new Marvel Rivals playable character has been leaked online. A short video on social media has teased and revealed that Psylocke from X-Men is expected to be one of the playable characters that will be available in the team-based PVP shooter when it officially releases on December 6 for PC and console players. Marvel has already confirmed 25 playable heroes and villains with unique abilities including the likes of Captain America, Winter Soldier and Black Panther that will be available at launch.
However, its important to note that these characters are expected to remain unlocked for all players and NetEase may add more Marvel characters after the launch.
In a post shared on social media platform X (earlier Twitter), a tipster named 404 Leak has shared a short clip that reveals that Psylocke from X-Men is expected to be available in Marvel Rivals at launch. The video shows the character sporting a new look and leaving pink and purple butterflies after disappearing.

However, there's still no confirmed release date for Psylocke, so Marvel Rivals fans will have to wait for Net Ease to make an official announcement.

Marvel Rivals Psylocke: What to expect

Psylocke is a mutant psychic with telepathic, telekinetic, and psionic weapon-wielding capabilities, is expected to be a
Duelist in Marvel Rivals, similar to Magik. According to a report by GameRant, Psylocke may come with offensive abilities. Morever, her portrayal as a ninja after swapping bodies with Kwannon in the Uncanny X-Men comics may also be the inspiration for her character in the game, the report notes.
If she is indeed classified as a Duelist, she could be a strong melee character offering support through her telekinetic powers. However, this may also lead to an imbalance in the game's character roles, necessitating the release of more Strategists and Vanguards to maintain balance.
