The
Gourab Roy Chowdhury and Aishani De starrer Bengali serial ‘Puber Moyna’ is bracing itself for an interesting twist in its storyline. The Bengali television show that started its journey a few months back, has already established a love triangle between Roddur (played by Gourab), Moyna (played by Aishani) and Gunja (played by Oindrila Bose). As per the current track of story, Gunja has plotted against Moyna to win over Roddur despite abandoning him earlier at the altar for Shreyash.
On the other hand, Roddur, who married Moyna at his mother Ronjaboti’s request, made a contract with Moyna and made her sign some terms and conditions before they tied the knot.
After Roddur married Moyna and Gunja was deserted by Shreyash, Gunja came back with a plea to stay friends with Roddur, while planning to keep him away from Moyna. Meanwhile Roddur, who although was drawn to Moyna for her simplicity, did not accept her as his wife. Moyna tried her best to keep up with her responsibilities as a wife, but Gunja was relentless in her pursuit to pursue Roddur away from her. In order to assert her control over Roddur, Gunja planned to take him out for a party. Gunja planned to intoxicate him in order to get closer to him. She spiked his drink and Roddur was left almost unconscious. Gunja had her mind set to exploit Roddur while he was in that state. However, Moyna arrived at the party at the right time and rescued a hallucinating Roddur from Gunja’s clasp.
As Moyna helped Roddur board a cab, he asked her, if she really spent a night with Rajaram when she was abducted by him in Bangladesh.
Will Roddur finally confess his true feelings for Moyna?
The Bengali TV show ‘Puber Moyna’ aims to tell the story of Roddur Dasgupta, a young man from a unique and affluent joint family residing in North Kolkata. On the other hand, Moyna is a girl from Bangladesh, hailing from moderate means. Moyna and Roddur’s paths cross during the festivities of
Durga Puja when Roddur rescues a drowning Moyna from the river. When Roddur brings Moyna to his home to treat her as a doctor and help her get back to her feet – Moyna forges a beautiful bond with his mother Ronjaboti.
Although Moyna and Roddur are mostly at loggerheads with each other, her simplicity and warmth gradually win over Roddur's family, bringing them closer together. In a twist of fate, Roddur and Moyna end up getting hitched. Will they ever find true companionship in each other? ‘Puber Moyna’ narrates the story of an unlikely bond that only grows fonder.
