Major reshuffle: Deepankar Garg is new joint commissioner, MC

Mohali: In a major reshuffle of IAS and PCS officers by the Punjab govt, Mohali got 11 PCS officers and 10 DSPs. Deepankar Garg is the new joint commissioner, MC, a post which had been vacant for the past three months. SDP Rajpura Avikesh Gupta has been appointed as secretary, PSEB Mohali. Damandeep Kaur has been appointed as SDM Mohali, replacing Deepankar, from PUDA Mohali.SDM Barnala, Inayat has been appointed at PUDA in place of Damandeep. SDM Derabassi Himanshu Gupta has been transferred to Dharamkot as SDM and SDM Dhuri Amit Gupta has been appointed as SDM Derabassi. Estate Officer (EO-plots) Gmada Harbans Singh has been transferred to Garhshankar as SDM. He has been replaced by Ravinder Singh, SDM Patran. Estate Officer (EO-housing), Gmada Khushdil Singh Singh has been transferred to Amritsar as RTO. He has been replaced by SDM Garhshanker Shivraj Singh Bal. SDM Bassi Pathana Sanjeev Kumar has been appointed as LAC, GMADA. After the transfer of 10 DSPs in the district, Bikramjit Singh Brar has been appointed as DSP Derabassi. He also holds additional charge of DSP AGTF. He replaces ASP Jyant Puri, who has been transferred as DSP City - I Mohali. DSP City 1 Mohali Mohit Aggarwal has been transferred to DSP Kharar-II (Mullanpur) replacing DSP Dharamvir Singh, who has been appointed as DSP technical wing. Karnail Singh has been appointed as DSP traffic, Mohali. He replaces DSP Mahesh Saini, who has been transferred as ASP traffic, Jalandhar. DSP Amanpreet Singh has been posted as DSP, Airport Mohali whereas DSP Kuljinder Singh has been posted as DSP NDPS. Harsimrat Singh DSP EO-wing, Mohali has been posted as DSP HQ Mohali and Jatinder Chauhan, DSP Special Crime, Mohali has been posted as DSP forensic Mohali.
