Panchkula:
Congress candidate from
Panchkula assembly seat Chander Mohan on Tuesday held public meetings in different areas of the city and appealed to the people to form a Congress government to make
Haryana prosperous.
Given the support he is garnering from the people in the area, he said: “This time it is not Chander Mohan but the people who are contesting the elections.”
Chander Mohan, during the public meetings, said he will not be able to repay this favour of the people even by serving them all his life.
“My entire family is indebted to the people and this debt will be repaid by Chander Mohan’s family by serving the people all their lives,” he said. “Now the bad times of the
BJP rule are going to end as the people will oust the BJP from power soon and the Congress party will form the government with a huge majority.” Mohan also said that there is a stampede in the party as every day big leaders of the BJP are joining Congress party. The main reason for this is the anti-people policies of the BJP. The promises made by Congress in the manifesto will be fulfilled, he said, adding that unlike BJP, only statements or paper promises will not be made, but the promises will also be fulfilled.
Chander Mohan held public meetings in Sector 16, Rajiv Colony, Sector 15, Indira Colony, Saketri, Sector 12, Nada Sahib, Sector 27, Barwala, Bhareli, Madanpur and Sector 25. Several BJP leaders and workers joined the Congress party in his presence.
