New Delhi:
Delhi High Court on Tuesday sought
CBI's stand on an application moved by D Suresh, father of a deceased UPSC aspirant, to change the investigation officer in RAU's IAS Study Circle drowning case. However, the court refused to stay the investigation. On Sept 20, the court of additional chief judicial magistrate Nishant Garg had dismissed an application filed by J Dalvin Suresh, father of Nevin Dalvin, one of the three aspirants who died in the basement of the coaching centre in Old Rajender Nagar in July this year.
The application requested the court to change the present investigation officer in the case, alleging misconduct. The court, dismissing the plea, had said it could not direct change of IO or arrest of persons who could be involved in the commission of the offence. TNN
