Jaipur: Majority of places in the state witnessed a rise in temperatures, humidity levels due to lack of rain on Tuesday. Rajasthan has experienced good rainfall this year as 27 districts recorded abnormal rainfall which is 60% higher as compared to last year. According to a senior official of
Met department, “The state so far has received an average rainfall of 672.1mm, which is 58% higher as compared to 2023.
Twenty-seven districts have received 60% higher rainfall as compared to last year and are in the category of stations recording abnormal rainfall. Likewise, 14 districts have received excess rainfall, which means they have received almost 30% to 59% higher rainfall as compared to last year. Similarly, nine districts have received normal rainfall, meaning they have received either equal rainfall as compared to last year or have received 19% higher rainfall as compared to last year.”
