Lawyer molested in HC elevator
The lawyer claimed that the accused — a clerk working for an advocate — had previously tried to get close to her by offering to help her expedite cases. Despite her warnings, he misbehaved with her in the elevator.
Lawyers informed the Hare Street police station and the police registered an FIR under the BNS. Cops stated that besides molestation, other sections too have been added. “We are in touch with the registrar to ascertain if we can get CCTV footage,” said an officer. Additional CP (I) Murlidhar Sharma confirmed that a legal process had been initiated.

Actor says producer molested & abused her
A 26-year-old actor lodged a complaint with Naigaon police against a producer for alleged stalking and molestation since May. The producer made obscene comments and continued harassment through phone calls and messages. Police are investigating, including reviewing CCTV footage from the hotel where the initial incident occurred.

Priest accused of molesting a girl inside temple
In Krishnanagar, a temple priest is accused of attempting to molest a girl who visited with her mother. Despite previous similar allegations, no action was taken by the temple administration. Following the girl's complaint, a case was registered, and police investigations revealed past misbehavior by the accused.
