Ludhiana: A man attacked his two brothers in Mundian Kalan area with the help of aides following a property dispute. One of the brothers was admitted in hospital with severe injuries. Moti Nagar police have filed an attempt to murder case against the accused.
The case was filed on the complaint of Jaswinder Jindar, 34, a resident of GTB Nagar, against his brother Tarun Jindar of Chaudhary Colony, Moti Nagar and his accomplices Lakhwinder Singh of Bhamian Kalan, Harjinder Singh alias Goldy Grewal, Hakam Hussain alias Kuku and D’Souza.

The complainant said that his father Dharam Chand had transferred the ownership of three houses to him and his brother Surinder.
Ownership of another house was transferred to Tarun. He said that Tarun used to tie buffaloes on the ground floors of the houses in their name and they had asked him to vacate the premises so that they could use the space.
Angered by this, Tarun attacked him and Surinder with swords and sticks. The accused also vandalised the house before escaping.
Jaswinder said that after the accused left, he and Surinder were going to the police station to file a complaint but the accused waylaid and attacked them again, inflicting serious injuries on Surinder.

ASI Anil Kumar, investigating officer from Moti Nagar police station, said that the police have lodged an FIR under section 109 (attempt to murder), 115 (2) (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 118 (1) (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means), 333 (house trespass), 126 (2) (punishment for wrongful restraint), 351 (3), 191 (3) (rioting, armed with deadly weapons), 190 (every member of unlawful assembly guilty of offence committed in prosecution of common object), 324 (4) (mischief causing damage to the amount of fifty rupees), 61 (2) (punishment for criminal conspiracy) of BNS against the accused, who are on the run.
