41 IAS officers transferred in major bureaucratic reshuffle in Bihar

A significant bureaucratic reshuffle in Bihar saw the transfer of 41 IAS officers, primarily district magistrates. Bhojpur DM Raj Kumar is now the managing director of COMFED, while Sheohar DM Pankaj Kumar has become the director of primary education. The General Administration Department issued the notification announcing these changes.

NEW DELHI: In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle in Bihar, 41 IAS officers, primarily district magistrates, were transferred, as per a notification issued late Saturday by the General Administration Department.
Bhojpur DM Raj Kumar was appointed as the managing director of Bihar State Cooperative Milk Producers Federation (COMFED), while Sheohar DM Pankaj Kumar was made director of primary education in the Education Department.

Director in Mines and Geology Department Mohd Nayyar Iqbal was reassigned to the Food and Consumer Protection Department as special secretary. Jamui DM Rakesh Kumar took over as the director of chakbandi in the Directorate of Land Records and Survey.
Mithlesh Mishra, who was the director of the mid-day meal program in the Education Department, is now the DM of Lakhisarai. Rohtas DM Navin Kumar has been transferred to the Transport Department as commissioner.
Araria DM Inayat Khan has been appointed as registrar in the State Cooperative Societies Department. Vidya Nand Singh, previously the deputy director in the Panchayati Raj Department, assumed the role of director in the Planning Department.
Begusarai DM Roshan Kushwaha was moved to the role of DM of Samastipur. Sheikhpura DM J Priyadarshani will now serve as director in the Department of Revenue and Land Reform.
