Patna: Digital solutions provider in the utility sector, IntelliSmart Infrastructure, is launching an initiative, ‘student training in electrician programme (STEP)’, which aims to skill 10,000 youths and prepare them for careers in the energy sector over a period of three years. This three-day, job-oriented, free-of-cost training programme has been designed to offer hands-on experience in the latest technologies and safety protocols in the energy sector.
The first batch of student training in electrician programme was inaugurated by managing director, South Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd (SBPDCL), Mahendra Kumar, and MD and CEO, IntelliSmart, Anil Rawal, in the presence of over 100 students of South Bihar Private ITI in Gaya.
