Hemant ‘most corrupt CM’ of country, says defence min
Chatra: Union ministers Rajnath Singh (defence) on Saturday called chief minister (CM) Hemant Soren the “most corrupt CM” in the country. Identifying JMM, Congress, and RJD as the three obstacles in the path of Jharkhand’s development, Singh urged the citizens to “remove the CM for playing with the democratic system” and support BJP to form the next govt in the state after the assembly elections.

Offering prayers at the 9th-century Maa Bhadrakali temple located at Itkhori in Chatra district before launching the ‘Parivartan Yatra’, Singh criticised Rahul Gandhi for attempting to tarnish India’s image abroad. He emphasised that politics should focus on building the country and not defame it. “Uproot the corrupt Hemant govt,” Singh added, while assuring the electorate that development work will start in the state after BJP takes oath of office of the CM. Also, legal action would be taken against the corrupt, he added.
