Varanasi: Banaras Hindu University is all set to host its 104th convocation on Dec 14. The ceremony, to be held at Swatantrata Bhawan, will be graced by Jay Chaudhry, a distinguished global entrepreneur and a trailblazer in the realm of cloud security.
Chaudhry, the CEO, Chairman and Founder of Zscaler, is an alumnus of BHU, having earned his Bachelor of Technology in electronics engineering from the Institute of Technology (now IIT-BHU) of the university in 1980.
Chaudhry is renowned for his groundbreaking contributions to the domain of cloud security through his pioneering endeavors. During the convocation ceremony, prestigious BHU gold medals will be conferred upon meritorious students for the academic session 2023-24. Furthermore, degrees will be bestowed upon the graduates of the session during various ceremonies at their respective institutes and faculties, following the conclusion of the main convocation programme, said the BHU spokesperson. tnn
