Varanasi: The Banaras Hindu University is gearing up to host the 8th National Youth Convention on ‘New Perspectives for Sustainable Agriculture and Livelihood Security (NYC-NPSALS-2024) at the Institute of Agricultural Sciences on Thursday and Friday.
The event, a collaborative effort by the All India Agricultural Students Association (AIASA), ICAR, and the Institute of Agricultural Sciences,
BHU, will witness a confluence of eminent scientific minds and enthusiastic youth actively engaged in the realms of agriculture and livelihood security.
Professor S.V.S. Raju, director of the Institute of Agricultural Sciences, emphasized, “The convention will delve into the critical challenges confronting Indian agriculture, aiming to formulate pivotal scientific resolutions through in-depth deliberations across various thematic domains of agriculture and food security.” The event will be graced by dignitaries and renowned scientists from across the nation. tnn
