'Devara' actor Jr NTR calls Alia Bhatt his closest friend in Bollywood

Jr NTR recently joined a panel discussion with Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar titled "Devara ka Jigra" to promote his upcoming film 'Devara: Part 1'. During the chat, he spoke fondly of his friendship with Alia, calling her his closest friend in Bollywood. The actors previously worked together in 'RRR'. 'Devara', featuring Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, is set to release soon.

Jr NTR's latest flick 'Devara' will be released soon in the theatres. The makers recently released a panel discussion including Bollywood's Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar which is named, "Devara ka Jigra" as both the actors promote their upcoming venture. During the discussion, Jr NTR spoke of how Alia has been his friend in Mumbai.
The makers posted the interview and its snippets on social media platforms, where Jr NTR said, "I can’t imagine any other friend in Bombay other than Alia…and of course after she, came Ranbir.

For the unversed, both the actors worked together for the first time in the SS Rajamouli blockbuster, 'RRR'. The movie also marked the Tollywood debut of the 'Dear Zindagi' actress.

Currently, Jr NTR is in Los Angeles for a film festival where the film 'Devara' will be released.
The movie also features Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in the leading roles, both the actors making their entry in Telugu films.
Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt is also promoting her upcoming film, 'Jigra' where she is seen directed by Vasan Bala. This action-thriller has Alia playing the role of a sister. In the film, her brother gets imprisoned and tortured. She then tries to break her brother out of the prison. The movie is announced to hit the silver screen on October 11th.
