Indian film actress Kareena Kapoor Khan completed 25 years in Indian cinema and a leading multiplex chain of the country announced a specially curated film festival to celebrate the diva's milestone. The chain will be organising a week-long film festival that will run over 30 cinemas halls in 15 cities from September 20 to September 27. On Wednesday evening, Kareena kickstarted the celebrations by making a sensational appearance in a lovely Banarasi sari, exuding retro vibes.Here's all about her look.

The beauty was styled by filmmaker and stylist, Rhea Kapoor, who is known to always bring out the best in the actress. Rhea dropped Kareena's outfit details on her Instagram story. She wrote, "Kareena Kapoor Khan wears a custom pre-owned vintage Banarasi saree (sari) by Amit Aggarwal. The piece was restored through meticulous pleating and innovative restoration techniques, preserving the original textile without cutting it. Reimagined as a contemporary saree drape, it maintains the integrity and essence of the traditional fabric while crafting it with modern design elements."

The copper sari look was finished off by celestial jewellery from Uncut By Aditi Amin and a stunning bindi by Roma Narsingani.
Kareena, who made her debut in the year 2000 with filmmaker JP Dutta's cross-border love story Refugee, shared the announcement on her official Instagram page on Monday night. According to reports, the release of her latest film The Buckingham Murders, directed by Hansal Mehta, serves as a prelude to the gala.
