The Great Indian Kapil Show is all set for its second season, and the cast recently had an interesting conversation with ETimes TV. Sunil Grover, who has been at the center of talks about returning to TGIKS, spoke about his patch up with Kapil Sharma and gave some insight into their current bond. The cast also talked about the popular SRK-Salman finale skit, where Sunil's impressions of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan had everyone laughing. He also joked about the memes that came out after the act. Archana Puran Singh, a key member of the show, shared her warm connection with Kapil and explained why she never feels offended by his jokes about her. I would have given a standing ovation when these two entered the stage. For the first time, I was confused about who to look at. Whether to look at Sunil or Krushna. Sunil was throwing his jacket around and Krushna was dancing like SRK. I know Shah Rukh and Salman well and I know the small gestures they do in their personal life. He was doing such fine minute detailed nuances of Salman that I was floored. On the other hand Krushna laga hua hai Woh dance step. I was confused Kahan dekhun. Kiku: When I met Krushna, I did not know him much. I had done just one season of Comedy Circus and I did not know him much. But when I started working with him on this show I started knowing him better. He is such a hardworking man, unko ye hai ke Ek pura act hai Woh Accha hona chahiye. He works on a very egoless space. Woh apni Puri jaan lagage kaam karta hai. Earlier, I used to feel that I’m a very hardworking person but after meeting Krushna I’ve started to doubt myself because he’s so hardworking. Main utna nahi hoon jitna Woh hai… he doesn’t even sit jab tak Woh stage par jaake Apna perform nahi kar leta he’s at it, I’ve really enjoyed working with him. (Photo: Instagram)

I’ve always felt reuniting with Kapil was like a home coming and accha lagta hai… apne logon ke beech wapas aana. We have spent so much time together. We have got so much in life because of this platform so there’s immense gratitude. Uske saath saath everyone is a friend here and khushi bhara Mahual hai haste rehte hain, hasaane ka kaam hai…toh bahut khushi hui to reunite again. I am very thankful to God for this. Lot of people take is seriously but I always mention this that I don’t take these jokes cracked on me seriously then why you all are getting affected. Aap mere liye kyun serious hojaate hain, Archana ji aap ko bura nahi lagta, humko toh aapke liye bura lagta hai… first of all it is a professional space and that’s where we are making joke. Yes, I saw the memes. It felt really good. Jab aap kuch kaam karte hain aur log usko itna pasand karte hain, positively react karte hain toh aapko accha lagta hai. Bus ye tha ke bhai ka reaction wahan se kuch galat na aaye (When you do something and people appreciate it so much, reacting positively, it feels really good. So how did Salman react, "Nahi nahi, aisa kuch nai hua... He I think quite liked it." Archana Puran Singh, who was also part of the interview said, "No way Salman can ever object to this. He is very sporting." Rajiv jokes, "Unhone itne gande gande mimickry dekhe the, ye toh bahut accha tha." Archana adds, "Yes, I agree gandi mimickry karne waale bahut hain na Salman ki." When you are working on a new place on something new everybody is on an experimental mode initially. I know main kitne dhurundharon ke beech mein kaam kar raha hoon, ye sabhi dhurandhar hai aur inke beech mein jagah bananne ke liye aap ko kuch efforts karna padega.
