The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 kicked off with rollover contestant Ujjwal Prajapat in the hot seat, aiming to fulfill his dream of winning big. Ujjwal made it all the way to the Rs 1 crore question but ultimately chose to quit the game, as he wasn’t confident about the answer. He took home Rs 50,00,000. The Rs 1 crore question was:
Appearing for India, which ruler of a princely state became a signatory of the Treaty of Versailles in 1919 after World War I? After a lot of thinking, Ujjwal shares that he wants to quit the show.
However, before leaving, he selects Option A) Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II and it is the wrong answer. The correct answer is Option D) Maharaja Rao Ganga Singh.
After Ujjwal made an exit, Big B played the Fastest Finger First round and Swapn Chaturvedi and Khushleen Kaur were selected for a face-off for 'Jaldi 5' and after beating Khushleen, Swapn made it to the hot seat. The contestant from Madhya Pradesh is an UPS aspirant and wants to be an IPS. He wants to be in the police force because he has always been good at sports just like his father.
Host Amitabh Bachchan presents the question for Rs 20,000 for Swapn. Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was a singer most associated with which of these? The contestant selects Option A) Qawwali. He praises Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan for the way he connected Qawwali with western music.
Moving ahead in the game, Swapn manages to answer the next few questions swiftly and wins Rs 1,60,000 with ease. During his conversation with host Amitabh Bachchan, Swapn reveals that one of his favourite movies of the megastar is Yaarana and he has watched it for 500 times. Big B gets shocked and asks, "Ek picture ko 500 baar dekha?" Swapn says that he can watch some of the dialogues on repeat because they are so funny. He then goes on to share one of his favourite scenes from the film where a Hindi teacher tries to teach him Hindi and reads a phrase. Swapn enacts the line. Mr Bachchan looks at him with a smile and says, "Sir abhi toh main bhul gaya hoon, aap he bata dijiye." He shares that when Big B recites those lines, he does it in the most hilarious way.

Swapn also highlights the tongue twister, Mr Bachchan teaches his Hindi tutor in the film "Kaccha Papad, Pakka Papad" and the latter reveals an interesting anecdote about the scene. Big B shares, "I also couldn't do it. I just said Kaccha Papad Pakka Papad, bahut mushkil hota hai sir ye.. kaafi humne uska rehearsal kiya. Kyunki jab bataya gaya ke ye drishya aane waala hai kal, aur ye aapko bolna padega, raat bhar hum usko bolte rahe kaccha papad pakka papad, par yaad nahi hua phir jab take hua bahut saare retake hue.. woh sahi nahi baith raha tha bahut mushkil hota hai usko tezzi se bolna. (I couldn’t do it either. I just said Kaccha Papad Pakka Papad—it’s really difficult, sir. We practiced it a lot. When they told me the scene was coming up the next day and that I’d have to say it, I kept repeating it all night—Kaccha Papad Pakka Papad. But I still couldn’t remember it. When the take happened, there were so many retakes because I couldn’t get it right. It’s very tough to say it quickly.)
The contestant then faces the question for Rs 3,20,000. Which highly reflective liquid serves as the primary mirror in the International Liquid Mirror Telescope in Nainital? As Swapn is not sure of the answer, he takes the help of the 'Audience Poll' lifeline and goes with Option D) Mercury.
The contestant next plays "Super Sandook" and he manages to answer five question correctly. He wins Rs 50,000 and decides to revive his 'Audience Poll' lifeline.
Swapn again gets stuck at the Rs 6,40,000 question and takes the help of lifeline "Audience Poll". Dronacharya awardee RB Ramesh has coached a pair of siblings in which sport? He selects Option A) Chess and it is the correct answer.
Big B next reads out the question for Rs 12,50,000. In Hindi texts, which god is also called Vrtrahan after he killed asura Vrtra? He uses his lifeline 'Video Call A Friend' but he doesn't get any help. Swapn decides to quit the show, but before leaving he selects Option A) Lord Shiva but the correct answer was Option D) Lord Indra.
