Second Oz varsity to start classes at GIFT City from Nov

Ahmedabad: The campus of the University of Wollongong (UOW) at GIFT City in Gandhinagar will start operations from Nov, stated the varsity authorities on Tuesday. It is the second Australian university after Deakin University to set up a campus at the fintech city.
The university will offer two courses primarily in fintech and data science with 50 students each, said officials.Executive director for global student recruitment at UOW, Kath McCollim, said that the university aims to provide international experience through inter-campus initiatives.
"Due to GIFT City, the Indian campus will be the first, besides the Australian one, to offer a course in fintech ," she said.
