Ajmer: Three of five men, all friends, died when the car in which they were travelling met with an accident near Nareili bypass on Ajmer-Jaipur highway on Friday afternoon. The five were on their way to Jaipur from
Pushkar to celebrate the birthday party of one of them. Police said Sanjay Gujjar, 27, Prakash Gujjar, 28, and Manish Meghwanshi, 26, residents of Deonagar village in Pushkar, were declared dead by doctors at JLN Hospital, where they had been rushed by local villagers in an ambulance.
The two others, Pawan Gujjar and Deepak Gujjar, are under treatment at the hospital. Their condition remains critical, said police. It was Manish Meghwanshi’s birthday on Friday, and all the five friends had decided to celebrate a party in Jaipur. They were travelling in Sanjay Gujjar’s car and had taken the Nareili bypass to reach the main Jaipur-Ajmer highway. Families of the deceased were informed by police. An investigation has been launched to ascertain the reason behind the accident, said the official. tnn
