Robbers snatch bag containing Rs 4.15 lakh from elderly man in Pratapgarh
Prayagraj: In a broad daylight incident, two bike-borne miscreants snatched a bag containing Rs 4.15 lakh from an elderly man near Ramganj Bazar of Pratapgarh on Monday.
Upon being alerted, senior police officials, including additional DG (Prayagraj zone) Bhanu Bhaskar, IG (Prayagraj range) Prem Gautam, and SP (Pratapgarh) Anil Kumar, along with forces, rushed to the spot and carried out investigations.

ADG told reporters that two persons, Subhash Chandra Tiwari (65) and his employer Ram Chandra of Ramganj, were going to deposit the amount from their shop to Bank of Baroda Gramin (Ramganj branch).
About 300m ahead of the branch, two bike-borne miscreants snatched the bag and escaped.
SP (Pratapgarh) has constituted three police teams to work out the case. The Pratapgarh police were also coordinating with their Sultanpur and Amethi counterparts to nab the robbers.
