TTD officials invite CM for Srivari annual Brhamotsavams

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams officials and priests extended an invitation to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for the Srivari annual Brhamotsavams at Tirumala, set for October 4-12. The CM will present silk robes to Lord Venkateswara Swamy on the first day. They also addressed the ongoing laddu-ghee adulteration controversy.

TIRUPATI: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams officials and priests led by EO J Syamala Rao and additional EO CH Venkaiah Chowdary extended official invitation to Andhra Pradesh Chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu at the latter's residence at Undavalli in Amaravati capital city on Sunday.
Srivari annual Brhamotsavams is scheduled to be held on a grand note at Tirumala from October 4-12.

As per the customer practice, the Andhra Pradesh Chief minister will extend Pattu Vastrams (silk robes) on behalf of the state govt to Lord Venkateswara Swamy on the first day of the annual Brhamotsavams at Tirumala on October 4.
Tirumala temple Chief priest A Venugopala Deekshitulu and other vedic scholars rendered Vedasirvachanam and handed over Srivari prasadams to the CM.
Meanwhile, TTD EO Syamala Rao briefed CM on the ongoing laddu-ghee adulteration with animal fats controversy once again on Sunday and discussed about the recommendations given by the agama exponents, priests, pontiffs of various mutts to the Tirupati trust on the purificatory rituals to be conducted to seek pardon from the almighty.
