AMRITSAR: Starting from October 1, 2023, Amritsar will be connected to Kullu in Himachal Pradesh with thrice-weekly flights operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Furthermore, starting from November 1, 2023, Amritsar will also have air connectivity to Shimla, with flights operating three times a week.
The new air service between Amritsar's Sri Guru Ram Das Ji International Airport and these popular tourist and business destinations in Himachal Pradesh is expected to bring significant benefits.
It will not only cater to the needs of tourists and business travelers from Punjab but also offer convenience to Himachal Pradesh's overseas residents, facilitating easier access to their homes.
First Delhi-Dharamshala-Delhi Indigo Flight flagged-off
Ticket bookings for the Kullu-Amritsar-Kullu route are already available through Alliance Air, allowing travelers to plan their trips conveniently. The Kullu-Amritsar flight will depart from Kullu at 8:25 AM, arriving in Amritsar at 09:30 AM. The return flight from Amritsar will take off at 10:00 AM and land in Kullu at 11:05 AM. Notably, half of the seats on this route will be subsidized, with airfares set at Rs. 2637 for the Kullu to Amritsar sector and Rs. 3284 for the Amritsar to Kullu sector.
