Five-yr-old raped in MP’s Harda district

Bhopal: A man lured a five-year-old girl promising to buy her snacks in Harda district of Madhya Pradesh and raped her. He abandoned the survivor after committing the act near a riverbank where her kin found her in an unconscious state. She was rushed to a nearby hospital from where she was referred to the health centre. The accused, who has been identified, is on the run.
The police have constituted five different teams led by SP Harda, and a hunt is on to arrest the accused.
The incident took place at a village that falls under Chhipabad police station in the district on Monday evening.
Sources said that the accused is a resident of the neighbouring Khandwa district and was visiting one of his relative in the survivor's village. A police team led by SP Abhinav Chouksey is in Khandwa district in search of the accused.
"Five teams have been constituted to arrest the accused. The survivor is out of danger and can speak. She told us that the accused took her out on the pretext of buying her snacks," Chhipabadh police station in-charge, Manoj Gaud, told TOI.
