Bhopal: In a late-night incident, a man allegedly fell off a moving train in a forest area near Barkheda in the Obedullaganj area and was seriously injured. The injured man,
Arun Kumar, called Dial-100 for assistance after the accident, and police promptly responded to the emergency.
Acting on information, cops on Dial-100 reached the spot and searched for the injured while talking to him on the mobile phone.
They had called for an ambulance, which reached the spot while they carried the injured from the railway tracks to the road.
Police said that the incident occurred early on Monday around 4am when the Madhya Pradesh State Police Control Room received the call on Dial-100. A Dial-100 vehicle stationed in Obedullaganj was immediately dispatched to the spot.
Upon arriving at the location, the Dial-100 team, comprising Sub-Inspector Santosh Singh, Head Constable Mangesh Bhadauria, and Pilot Anees Khan, found that Arun Kumar had been travelling from Lucknow to Bhopal. He missed his stop at Bhopal Station after falling asleep and, while standing at the door of the train, accidentally fell near the railway tracks in Obedullaganj.
