Chandigarh: The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Mohali's director, Prof Anil Kumar Tripathi, has been elected as vice president (Science Promotion) of the Indian National Science Academy (INSA). His three-year term will commence on January 1, 2025, following the election during the INSA Annual General meeting held on September 20.
Prof Tripathi, who joined IISER Mohali as Director on April 29 2024, has an illustrious academic and administrative career spanning over 40 years. He previously served as Director of the Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), where he made significant contributions in research. TNN
