Pb transfers 26 IAS, 98 PCS officers
Chandigarh: In a major reshuffle, Punjab govt on Monday transferred 26 IAS and 98 PCS officers after getting approval from the governor.
State govt assigned 1994-batch officer Alok Shekhar the post of additional chief secretary (social justice, empowerment and minorities). He replaces Dhirendra Kumar Tiwari, who has been given additional charge of chief secretary (transport), relieving Dilraj Singh.

Rahul Bhandari, who was available for posting, has been given charge of principal secretary (animal husbandry), relieving Shekhar.
Rahul Tiwari will perform additional duties of administrative secretary (new and renewable energy sources) in place of Priyank Bharti. Services of Sanyam Aggarwal have been placed at the disposal of the department of local govt for posting as MC commissioner in Bathinda against a vacant post, while Harpreet Singh Sudan has been given the charge of special secretary (revenue) and director (sports). Aditya Uppal has been given the charge of deputy commissioner, Pathankot. Abhijeet Kaplish has been assigned the role of director (mines and geology).
