Representatives from six districts' bar associations met with assembly members, demanding a circuit bench of the High Court in Kolhapur. They asked the Chief Minister to write to the Chief Justice, promising necessary infrastructure. The demand arises from difficulties faced by litigants traveling to Mumbai for hearings, as nearly 35% of pending cases are from these districts.
