Chennai: Accusing chief minister
M K Stalin of attracting minimal investments from his four foreign trips,
AIADMK general secretary
Edappadi K Palaniswami on Monday demanded that state govt release a white paper detailing the status of these investments, commissioned projects, and jobs generated over the past three years.
In a statement, he said that Telangana's chief minister attracted investments worth 31,500crore from a US trip in Aug, while a Karnataka delegation secured 25,000crore in Oct.
"Stalin has attracted only 18,000crore in his four foreign trips. Most of the deals were for expansion of the existing industries in
Tamil Nadu" he said, accusing CM of refusing to release a white paper "due to a lack of competence". TNN
