Home dept revises minimum value of liquor for quality cases
The Gujarat state home department has issued a notification revising the minimum value of liquor seizures required to classify them as 'quality' cases. The threshold for country liquor has been raised from Rs 15,000 to Rs 1 lakh and for Indian-made foreign liquor from Rs 25,000 to Rs 2.5 lakh, reflecting updated market prices.
