80-yr-old woman found murdered in Manipur

Imphal: Tension prevailed in the Yairipok area of Thoubal valley after an 80-year-old woman was found brutally murdered with her throat slit at her elder son’s residence on Monday evening.
Family sources said the gold chain of the deceased, identified as Keisam Radhe, was also missing.
The police and forensic experts examined the spot and sent the body to Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS) in Imphal East for post-mortem.The police registered a case in this connection and launched an investigation to nab the unidentified criminals.
At around 4pm, the deceased, who used to live with her younger son, went to her elder son’s residence at a nearby locality, the sources said, adding that her body was found in the kitchen. No one was there in the house when she reached there, sources further said.
